Product Review: Knob Polish by Shtuff for Bikers
By David Woodby

Time Rider's Shtuff for Bikers has a pile of incredible products available on their website, http://www.ShtuffForBikers.com. This month's product review will cover Knob Polish, a metal cleaner and polish that is, in my opinion, revolutionary. Strong words? Not as strong as this product. I tried Knob Polish on my pipes, mirrors, and chrome. Wonderful, easy to apply, easy to wipe off, sterling results...just what you would expect, right?
THEN I polished my gas tank, my saddlebags, and my helmet with the SAME polish. Yep, you heard me right, I used metal polish on painted surfaces with the same sterling results. This shtuff does NOT harm painted surfaces. Surprised? I then went to my clear plastic lower deflectors and removed tiny paint spots picked up from roadway paint...and my deflectors are clear and unspoiled as the day I brought the Beast home to live with me. I even subjected Knob Polish to what I consider to be the ultimate test.
Since Knob Polish has no abrasives that would mar the painted surfaces on my bike and helmet, it couldn't possibly compete with abrasive containg products like Simichrome, Brasso, or even (gasp), Mother's Mag Polish could it?

One of my most treasured posessions fell victim last year to a week long power outage. My father's old Revere Ware copper bottomed coffee percolator was exposed to charcoal fire, wood fire, and propane. It was black, sooty, and, I thought, ruined forever. I spent half a day last year after the power came back on with a container of Mother's Mag Polish working on that coffee pot, and then I just got tired and gave up. A year later Vance Lane of Time Rider provided me with a jar of Knob Polish and asked me to do a product review. After a year of sitting and oxidizing, and a half day of rubbing and cleaning, I spent 15 minutes with the coffee pot, Knob Polish, and a clean rag...I still can't believe the results, which you can see for yourself. I haven't spent any more time after those first unbelieveable results. I demonstrate a little spot at a time for friends and unbelievers. You can obtain this miracle product and some others I will review over the next couple of months, at http://www.ShtuffForBikers.com, or you can call Vance at 877-874-8687. Tell him Lizard at Panhandle Biker sent ya!
